Vinegar For Your health

Vinegar For Your health

We all like to think that our homes are sparkly clean and are free from the worst of germs. Germs are anywhere and that's not all bad. Our immune systems need to be exposed to germs in order to build itself up so that our bodies can fight off harmful bacteria and viruses. We know this and yet we still continue to use harsh chemicals to continue the battle.

Many of us were raised using bleach as a germ-killer and we also put it in our washing machines to whiten those whites. Bleach kills most whatever but did you know that there are other products that are far less caustic and yet do the same job as bleach? One example of this would be vinegar. Vinegar kills germs, cuts straight through soap build up in your washing engine and dishwasher. Throw your shower curtains in the washing machine, with a few bath towels, adding soap and vinegar for a approved cleaning. A vinegar rinse can also leave your crystal dishes, light fixtures, mirrors and windows with a beautiful streak free shine. You can put a bowl, with a blend of 1/2 cup vinegar and 1/2 cup water in your microwave, and allow the explication to come to a soft boil. This will loosen any food particles and get rid of any odors. No harmful products are needed.

Vinegar also cleans the smells out of the air. If your evening meal has left a lingering odor well after the meal, place a small bowl of vinegar on the counter. This also works great if there is cigarette smoke in your home or car. Do you have pets living in your home? Many of us never observation pet odors in our own homes because we are so accustomed to it. Any way if you have pets, you have smells that are not necessarily fragrant to others who may be arrival to your house. Put 1 cup of vinegar with a cup of water in a spray bottle and spritz colse to the room. This will clean the air and no one will imagine a pet anywhere! Spritzing colse to a pets crate or litter box is great too. It's much best for you to breathe in then a fragrance spray. Did you know that many of the sprays that we use to disinfect and clean our air are also flammable?

Whenever you are washing dark or absorbing clothing in your washing machine, add vinegar to hold the color. It isn't necessary to do every time you wash the garment, but try to do it on the first washing. A great idea for new blue jeans, or new towels.

Vinegar is used on bee stings. Takes the pain right out. How about a sunburn? Just dab on the vinegar with a cotton ball. It cools the burn immediately. Do you suffer from plantars warts? Just soak the affected area in vinegar water for 20 minutes or so at a time and after 6 weeks or so, they should be gone.

Many population drink vinegar. One teaspoon in a small glass of water each day can be helpful for digestion. How about production your own salad dressings using vinegar? I slice cucumbers in a dish and splash vinegar with salt and pepper on them for a great meal time addition.

My personal popular is to use vinegar for cleaning drains. The idea is to use this technique for stoppage and it's so simple. Just take a cup of baking soda and put it down or colse to the drain in the tub, shower and sinks. Now pour vinegar and wash the soda down the drain. Let it stand for 10 minutes or so and chase the blend down with boiling water. Not only does this clean the drain, but it also makes the room smell fresh and clean. And no caustic cleaners to keep in the cupboard or breathe in while use.

Don't forget to use this great product outside. Pour full vigor on unwanted grass. If you have plants that need acidic soil just water them using a tiny vinegar and watch the divergence in the flowers. Clean the lime from your flower pots before putting in new plants. I love to use vinegar water to rinse my birdhouses with after I remove the nesting material. Use vinegar with water to clean the bird bath each week.

Remember to put your health first when cleaning. Vinegar is inexpensive, easy to use and kills germs too.
